RULES AND REGULATIONS


PAPER PRESENTATIONS: [UG & PG]

• The topics shall focus the EVIDENCE BASED PHYSIOTHERAPY.
• Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
• Abstract should be submitted on or before 11thNov 2010.(synergyphysiocon@gmail.com)
• All abstract will be scrutinized by the scientific panel.
• Abstract selected will be informed to the presenters within 7 days from the final date of abstract submission deadline.
• The presenter shall submit the material in 2 hard copies and 1 soft copy by CD in either MS 2003/MS 2007 version, on or before 1rd Dec 2010.
• The Hard copies should be typed in Font style – Arial, Size – 12, Line space – 1.5, Paper size – A4.
• Presentation material should be in power point presentation

  • Each slide maximum number of lines: 6 – 8.
  • Lines well spaced and legible to audience(Font size min:28)
  • Any audio support needed should be informed before for feasibility

• Duration for paper presentation is maximum 10 minutes.
• Discussion time after presentation will be 2 minutes.
• The selection committee will select the paper for presentation and judge’s decision will be final for the award of prize.

POSTER PRESENTATION: [UG & PG]

• Poster size should be 4ft x 3ft.
• Poster presentation should be of printed material in a flex, with top and bottom pouch.
• 2 candidates will be allowed to present a poster.
• The topics shall focus the EXTENDED SCOPES OF PHYSIOTHERAPY IN OTHER FIELDS.
• Duration for each poster presentation will be 5 minutes.
• Last date for registration for poster presentation is 15th Nov 2010.Registration by confirming: College name, Participant name & Poster title
• Judges decision will be final for the award of the prize.

QUIZ COMPETITION: [UG & PG]

• 2 Teams from each College
• 3 participants in a team
• Each team should have a captain representing the team
• Preliminary round will be conducted on UG syllabus in MCQ format as a written test
• Average mark of 3 participants in the team will be considered to participate in the finals.
• The finals will have a total of seven rounds

o Round-1 will be conducted in two parts
o Part 1- Q &A round without options – pass type
o Part 2- Q& A round with options – MCQ’s
o Round 2 – is the demo round
o Participants from each team should identify and answer what is being demonstrated on stage.
o Round 3 –is the Dumb Charades Round
o Round 4 – Rapid fire round
o Round 5 –is the audio visual round
o The participants should identify the video or picture shown on screen.
o Round 6 – Captains round
o Questions should be exclusively answered by the captain
o Round 7 – Buzzer round

• The time limit for all the rounds will be detailed on the day of quiz
• If tie – additional rapid fire round will be conducted for the tie teams.
• Quiz master decision will be final.
• The list of the participating teams should be submitted on or before 10th November 2010.

CULTURAL COMPETITION:

• Each College will be given maximum 10 minutes to perform (minimum 2 events mandatory)
• Within the time duration the programmes may exhibit anything of the following,

- Solo song / Group song
- Solo dance / Group dance
- Mimicry
- Ads up
- Mono Acting

• No fire is entertained on the stage.
• All participants should follow the standard dress code.
• Last date for registration for Cultural Competition is on or before 12th Nov 2010.
Registrations by confirming: College name, Participants name & events.
• Last date for submission of Cultural audiovisual CDs is on or before 1th Dec 2010.

Only the registered delegates will be allowed for any category of competitions.
