Students have excellent exposure to all kinds of patients in the department of Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Cardiology and Cardio - Thoracic surgery, ICU, Neuro ICU and CTU - HDU, OBG and Community center.

Besides the hospital training, fully equipped Anatomy, Physiology, Electrotherapy and Exercise therapy laboratories are available for the students to practice and familiarize themselves with the handling of various equipment and to perfect their therapy techniques.

The College has well equipped spacious demonstration halls separately for exercise therapy & electrotherapy so that the student can understand effectively, what they have learnt in the classroom. Practical sessions are designed such that the students are allowed to practice individually so that the basic concepts are well understood.

For qualified physiotherapist, opportunities exist within and outside the country. The opening are not limited to private practice, but extends to employment in Polyclinics, Hospitals, Rehabilitation Centres, Disability homes, Old age homes and Fitness & Health Clinics. IT industry gives it's opening in the field of Medical Transcription, Coding & Billing, after a short term training preferable to physiotherapists. Physiotherapy jobs in foreign countries still remain open, for us to knock them. Physiotherapists can enter into marketing (Therapeutic Equipment), industries (Ergonomic Counselors), production (with Bio Medical Engineers) and so on. A placement cell functions within the college, which assists the students in securing a good job.

The college library has one of the largest collections of Physiotherapy titles in Tamil Nadu, with over 2000 different titles and more than 4000 books. Every academic year, books and journals worth more than 2.5 lakhs rupees are added to the library. Internet facilities are available for the students in the college and library. The library regularly subscribes to periodicals related to Physiotherapy, Medicine, allied health sciences, and WHO publications. All reputed international and national journals are available in the library.

The cultural committee conducts monthly cultural programs by the students. This helps to break the study routine and gives an opportunity for students to excel in extra-curricular activities. An annual cultural extravaganza, is organised enabling the students to develop their creative as well as organizing skills.

Eligibility Criteria for B.P.T.

	Individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology both theory & Practical with a minimum of 35% of marks in each of the above subjects is mandatory.
	A pass in English with a minimum of 35% of marks is also  mandatory.

Grace Pass/Deficiency condoned/Mercy Pass/Declared Pass/Exempted Pass in other optional subjects (except the core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology and English) shall be accepted for the issue of Eligibility Certificate for admission to B.P.T. course.

A Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to 1st year of B.P.T Degree courses.
